something new i'm trying. i always love the photomanipulation story images, ones that have a plot rather than simply a character image. i think they're the hottest thing going - so i wanted to try it out for myself. well gewd.

anyway, the song that i have chosen is one that, although it is not close to me psychologically, is one i find memorable. it reminds me very much of a time in my childhood, no real reason, other than it reminds me of christmas times when i would watch old videos my parents recorded off the tv for me. one particular video - which is aging now - has the adventures of winnie the pooh, disney's robin hood and the sword in the stone on it. this song - "love" - is a beautiful one which is so touching, and slows you down into a poignant, happy mood. i suggest searching it out on youtube or elsewhere to cop a listen.

for the series, i plan to use the same background, and switch the horses around. i'm trying to show how different love is to different people. also, how different love stories happen, in the same kingdom. this one is a young love, between two foals, who have broken away from the herd. this is to show how tender, innocent and naive, their love is, but also how mature they are for their age. i lvoe this piece - i think its just what i was aiming for.
